Peacefully at home, in his one hundred and fourth year, surrounded by loved ones, on Wednesday, May 23, 2001. Husband of the late Queenie Wener. Beloved father and father-in-law of Robert and Marion, Norma and the late Jack. Cherished grandfather of Jane, Peter and Julie, James and Alice; Steven and Susan, Richard and Joanne, Nancy and Marc Gold. Loving great-grandfather of Casey, Tony and Caroline; Katie, Justin and Olivia; Joshua, Rachel, David and Nathalie; Jordan, Daniel and Angela; Jenny and Jonathan Gold. Great-great-grandfather of Nathan Cummings. Predeceased by his brothers Nathan, Ben, Ralph, Harold and sister Minnie Abbey. Special thanks to Dr. Rubin Becker, Diane Archambault, Jane Craig, and Sheilah MacDonald for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Congregation Shaar Hahsomayim Synagogue, 120 Cote St. Antoine Rd., Westmount on Friday, May 25 at 12:30 p.m. Burial at the Shaar Hashomayim Congregation Cemetery, Mt.
