| The family of Gerald Joseph Bernstein is heartbroken to announce his sudden passing on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Loving husband of Harriet Margolis Bernstein. Devoted father and father-in-law of Stacey Bernstein and Jason Lester, Laurie Bernstein, Franceen Bernstein and Darrin Zweig, Jonathan Bernstein and Zoe Tananbaum. Gerry will be lovingly remembered by Harriet’s children, Jerry, Karyn and Jill Rosenthal. Adored “Papa” of Jacob and Katie Furman; Jessica, Zack, Greg and Max Morgan; Noah and Sarah Zweig; Gideon, Solomon, and Ezra Bernstein; Lauren and Sam Rosenthal; Ryan Rosenthal; Alex and Sabrina Notkin. Gerald had a sharp wit, a critical mind and a love of life – making the most of every minute – but his greatest joy and legacy was the family he built. They are left with an unfillable void.
