Peacefully, at home, after a brief illness, on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Daughter of the late Sam and the late Lillian Paperman. Sister of the late Brenda Paperman Levy. Cherished aunt of Stephen and Robyn Smith, and Leslie Smith. Elaine will be lovingly remembered by Joseph and Heather, Laurence and Kerry, and Ross and Selena Paperman and their families, and by all those whose lives she touched. She was a dedicated volunteer who gave of her time to the Jewish General Hospital Auxiliary, Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom Congregation and many other causes. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, July 9 at 12 noon. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt. The family will be receiving visitors following the burial at Place Kensington, 4430 Sainte-Catherine St. W., reception room.
