With courage and dignity on Monday, October 15, 2001. Beloved husband and best friend of Helen Schachter. Cherished father and father-in-law of Willa Roni and Brian of Toronto, Don and Lise of Maitland, Florida, and Maxyne of Toronto. Adored grandfather of Talia, Cassia and Samantha. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Rose and the late Philip Friedman of Florida, Doris and Julius Lublinski of Florida, the late Minnie and the late Irving Fanaberia and brother-in-law of Frances and Abe Seidman, the late Sydney and the late June Schachter of New York. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family, friends and all those whose lives he touched. Very special thanks to Dr. Line Jacques of the Montreal Neurological Institute for her compassion and devotion and to the wonderful staff of 4 north. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Wednesday, October 17 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Shaar Hashomayim Congregation Cemetery, Mount Royal Boulevard. Shiva at his home.
