At home after a courageous and lengthy battle on Tuesday, April 3, 2001; 10 Nisan, 5761. Beloved husband of Huguette. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Peter and Marla, and Alan Veres. Cherished Papa of Tamar, Ali, Eytan, Racheli and Daniella. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Elizabeth and the late Jeno Gottlieb, Madelaine and the late Dolly Weisz, Helene and Robert Bembassat, the late Gaby Zussau, Suzanne and the late George Radier. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Bouhadana, Dr. David Donath and Harvey Kreisman, Estopi Dajczman, Sybil and Pat and the staff of the Jewish General Hospital Pulmonary Unit for their kind care and compassion. Funeral service took place from Paperman and Sons on Tuesday, April 3 at 3 p.m. Burial at the Congregation Young Israel of Montreal Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at 5712 Ferncroft, Hampstead. Due to the advent of Passover, Shiva will conclude on Friday afternoon.
