Peacefully, on Friday, July 5, 2019. Beloved husband of Doris Akerflug for fifty-six years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Lenny and Bonnie, Steven and Sherri, Randi and Lloyd Pedvis, and Marla. Cherished Zaida of Ryan and Ari, Jillian, Zachary, Jeremy, Matthew, Josh, Evan, and Erin. Dear brother of Sheila, and the late Solly; brother-in-law of Harry and Zippy Akerflug, and Shirley and the late Sammy Schnurbach. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Maimonides for their care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Monday, July 8 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Montreal Workers' Circle Cemetery, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at 114 Stephanie St., D.D.O., from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily, ending Wednesday evening.
