Obituary Surrounded by his entire family on Monday, March 4, 2002. Beloved husband and best friend of fifty years of Helen Charnetsky. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Alanna and Phil Sebag, Maureen and April, Earl and Ellen. Proud and loving Grandpa of Kimmie, Chloe, Alexandra and Aidan. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Sonny and Gilda, the late Pearl and the late Lefty Berger, Jerry and the late Rhoda Kowarsky. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and all who had the great fortune to know him. The family would like to acknowledge the exceptional medical attention and care given by all the doctors and staff of the Jewish General Hospital who went above and beyond the call of duty. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Wednesday, March 6 at 12 Noon. Burial at the Jewish Assistance Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, Sources Blvd., D.D.O. Shiva at 5610 Castlewood, Cote St. Luc. In lieu of gifts or flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Leo Rubin Memorial Fund, c/o The Jewish General Hospital Foundation.
