Paul Brownstein, "Paisy" passed away quickly and peacefully on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, in his eighty-ninth year. Cherished father of Harvey and Warren, and father-in-law of Dayni. Adored grandfather of Marjorie Rubi. Beloved son of the late Harry and the late Rosie Brownstein. Treasured brother of Pearl Adams, and predeceased by his older sister, Ruthie Dick. He will be sadly missed by his devoted nieces and nephews, who loved Paisy like a father. Heartfelt thanks to Helena, Alan and Harriet for many years of being there for Paisy when he couldn't manage on his own. Much gratitude to Aunt Pearl and her late husband Robert Adams for their visits and attention they showed Paisy when he returned to Montreal. Special thanks to Paisy's caregivers and good friends, Ligaya "Guy" Torio, Johnathan Lopez and Leonardo Torio, for bringing a smile to dad’s face every day and for helping him to get through these final and sometimes difficult years of his life.
