Obituary It is with utmost sadness that we announce the passing of the most humble and gentle man, Herbert Noel Bronstein, on Monday, July 13, 2020. Devoted son of the late Rita and the late Leon Bronstein. Soulmate and forever love of Gia Paccione, who made him happier than he had ever been. Loving father of Brian (Debbie Rubinovitch), Melissa (Dave Henderson), the late Sanh, Andrew, Benjamin (Rowena Velasquez), Tam-Lien (Stacey Coleman), Tran, Shanin (Denis Roy), Dov, Miki, Pilar (Peter Alford), and Heidi (Valerie Lévesque). Beloved grandfather of Meagan, Adam, Noa, Aliya, Jonah, Layla, Jude, Nathaniel, Shanice, Kai-Ling, Shianne, Tyheem, Tamara, Jake, Liam, Kaylee, Kobe, Jaidin, Miles and Leni. Brother of Peter Bronstein. Proud great-grandfather of Ryan. He was a loyal man who devoted his life to his family and their well-being. A father to 12 children, he opened his heart and filled theirs with love, nurture and compassion. His strength and resilience were unparalleled. His empathic nature made him a loving and compassionate human being. He was a man who loved life. He enjoyed everything with vigour and passion. He consumed all things beautiful and delicious, and was always ready to share. He brought joy to all the people whose lives he touched and paths he crossed, always leaving with them, his warmth and love. He was a pillar in his beloved fellowship, dedicating over 21 years to service. He was a sincere man who had the incredible capacity to be both apologetic and forgiving. He had a contagious laugh and a spitfire wit that always left everyone laughing. As he passed through life, he helped people in more ways than he may have realized. But LOVE is what he was. Love is what he gave, and love is what he received in return. Anyone who knew Herbie is left with the feeling of that warm hand on their face, or on the back of their neck - that hand that always made you feel you were loved. As we have been blessed by him in this lifetime, he leaves behind a forever void. May he find peace in eternity and carry our love with him still as we will forever carry his. A private graveside burial will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to your local food bank, and members of his fellowship can make donations to ISO in his memory.
