MALLAY, Alvin A. After a valiant struggle with COPD on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at age 73. Son of the late Riva and Robert Mallay. Devoted husband of Kayla Michaels. Cherished father of Lynn Mallay (Brad Bell) and Nicki Varma (Prince). Adored Zaydie of Hayley, Mackenzie, Sydney, Jordan and Jack. Brother-in-law of the late Morton Michaels. Brother of Vivian Mallay and Marcia Mallay (Sy Blumer). Uncle Alvin will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Special gratitude to Rabbi Arnold Fine, Dr. Edward Rose, Dr. Mark Smith, Dr. Adam Cohn and the staff of the Queensway-Carleton Hospital. A Graveside Service will be held at the Kehal Israel Memorial Park, 4189 boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC on Sunday, October 23, at 12:30 p. m. Shiva private.
