NIREN (NIRENBERG), Herbert (Herb). Peacefully in his sleep after a short illness on Saturday, July 1, 2000. Survived by his loving wife Ethel Roth. Loving father and father-in-law of Wally Gwen Schlazer-Burrick and Steven Burrick of Florida, Lawrence Niren of California and Steven Michael Niren of Minneapolis. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie, Stewart and Arthur. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Mildred Niren, Doris and Edward Rothchild of California. Son of the late Nellie and the late Aaron Nirenberg. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and extended family. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of tenth floor Medical and the Palliative Care Unit of the Royal Victoria Hospital for their tremendous care and kindness.
