It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Lecker after a long a courageous battle with multiple health issues, on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Beloved husband of Louella Gasoi. Treasured father and father-in-law of Stewart and Shari Lecker, and Robert Lecker. Proud, adoring and devoted ‘Saba’ of Rachel, Jonah, and Benjamin Lecker. Son of the late Rose and the late Theodore Lecker. Loving brother of the late Joyce Brettschneider (Murray Brettschneider) and the late Barbara Tolensky (Irwin Tolensky); and brother-in-law of Ivan and Laurie Gasoi, and Marvin Gasoi. Cherished uncle of Howard Brettschneider and Gina Pellecchia, Stacy Toban and Don Mintz, Robyn Toban and Efram Harte, Louie and Lara Gasoi, Jennifer, Stacey Gasoi and Ray Longauer. Steve will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews and their families, as well as by his many good friends throughout the years. He will be remembered for his wisdom, kindness, generosity, tremendous heart, and his contributions to Jewish communities in Canada, United States, and Israel.
