Suddenly, on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, in his eighty-third year. Beloved husband of Florence Mandelbaum for fifty-nine years. Adored father and father-in-law of Alan Ruttenberg and Lori Rosenthal, Marla Ruttenberg and Stuart Schwartz. Proud and loving Zaidy of Evan, Jarrett; Samara, Russell, and Michael. Predeceased by his brothers, Eddie, and Leo (the late Ethel). Dear brother-in-law of Sandra Ruttenberg, Susan Sassoon, Zavie Mandelbaum and Rodica Iliescu. Loving uncle of Marshall and Marianna, Adam and Heidi, Jonathan and Jennifer, Sarit, John and Heather, Marc and Noeline, Hadar and Maya, Dylan, Miley, Noah, and the late Shani. He will be lovingly remembered by his family, many dear friends and his other nieces and nephews. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, January 17 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at Farband Labour Zionist Organization Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
