Suddenly after a very brief illness, on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at the age of sixty-eight. Beloved daughter of the late Morty and the late Gloria Steinman; and daughter-in-law of the late Ben and the late Hattie Bernstein. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Hayden Bernstein and Leah Adelsohn, and Sean Bernstein. Very proud “Grammy” of Benjamin Daniel Bernstein. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Dr. William and Rona Steinman, Dr. Mark and Marla Steinman. Rona will be missed by Dr. Allan Bernstein. A very special aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Adored by her aunts, uncles and cousins, by her many close friends, and especially by Barry Rose, with whom she shared a close friendship for fifty years. Special thanks to doctors, Richard Dalfen, Adrian Langleben and the entire oncology team at St. Mary’s Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. A private graveside service will take place on Friday, September 4.
