On Wednesday, August 12, 2020, in her ninety-eighth year. Beloved wife of the late Alex. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Marvin and Joanne, Howard and Sandra. Cherished Bubby of Meagan and Chelsea Smolar; Jennifer and Mike Sheffren, Jason and Jennifer Smolar, and Justin Smolar. Loving great-grandmother of Paige and Olivia Sheffren; Sadie and Lucy Smolar. Dear sister of Bernard Cohen, the late Edna Horner, and the late Sarah Steinberg; and sister-in-law of Sam and the late Cecile Smolar, Freda Brown, the late Saul and the late Esther Smolar. Helen will be sadly mourned by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends. A private graveside service to take place.
