With courage and dignity on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. Beloved and devoted husband of Gail Lipson for almost fifty-two years. Loving and cherished father and father-in-law of Steven and Rhonda, and Tammy and Michael. Treasured Zaidie of Jordan, Brendan, and Faith. Dearest brother of George. Tom will be lovingly remembered by his extended family and many dear friends. We wish to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Jewish General Hospital and Jewish Eldercare for their care. A special thank you to Allan Greenberg for his kindness and compassion. Tom was born in Hungary and immigrated to Canada in 1956. Starting from humble beginnings, he became an optician and built a successful business. He devoted over 40 years to serving his many customers at Marervision. As a past president of Congregation Beth Tikvah, Tom was a valued and active member of the community. He enjoyed travelling, celebrating and sharing good meals with his family and friends.
