Passed away peacefully on Friday, April 23, 2021 in his ninety-fourth year. Beloved husband of Mickey Epstein (Hurwitz). Devoted father and father-in-law of Lori and David Silverman, David and Heather Epstein. Beloved stepfather and father-in-law of the late Robyn and Jory Zunenshine, Jodie and Dave Lin. Adoring and proud "Papa" of Shannon Epstein and Corey Czik, Kelly Epstein and Jarred Cohen; Jared, Evan and Ryan Zunenshine; Kammie, Preston, Reilley, Logan, and Cole Lin. Dear brother of Willie and Naomi Epstein, the late Bennie Epstein; and brother-in-law of Ruth Epstein, the late Lou Epstein, Doris Epstein, the late Rose and the late Joe Feig. Dear brother-in-law of Bill and Joyce Hurwitz, and Burton Hurwitz. Cherished son of the late Hyman and the late Anne Epstein. Sam will be greatly missed by his many nephews, nieces, friends, and all who knew and loved him. A private graveside service will take place. Shiva strictly private.
