Obituary After a long and courageous battle, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of a very special man. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife and best friend Jo-Ann Duquette (Doodah), his loving children, Elysa Monk and Philippe Begin, Evan Monk and Sabrina Bercovitch, Stephanie Duquette and Michael Clark and Paige Duquette. His cherished grandchildren Joey, Max, Jesse, Mia, Lexy and Tasai. Son of the late Evelyn and the late Max Monk. He will also be missed by his best friends, cousins and anyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting him. A simple and gentle man with a heart of gold and an amazing zest for life. If you knew him you loved him from the start. Always laughing and smiling and joking around right until the end. He touched the lives of so many. The family would like to thank Dr. Diaz and Dr. Shenouda at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Cedars Cancer Centre. The doctors and nurses at the Jewish General palliative care. Dr. Golda and all the nurses and PABs that took the greatest loving care at the Mount Sinai hospital. A private graveside service will take place. Shiva will be private.
