It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved Sadie, who died suddenly, on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. Cherished wife of the late Irving Kaplan. Adored mother of Bonnie, Joyce and Audrey. Dear mother-in-law of Louis Charbonneau. Doting Bubbie to Thomas, Judith, Laura and Michael. Proud great-grandmother of Laurent and Patrick. Loving sister and sister-in-law, survived by Lillian and Jack Margolis. Caring aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Sadie was a force of nature. Independent and strong, she took on her many roles - nurse, wife, mother, student, matriarch - with a level head and an easy laugh. She was good friend, wise counsel and devoted caregiver to all who knew her. Her passing is keenly felt by the many of us who relied on her in countless ways. We have lost our grounding force.
