SACKS, Philip. Peacefully and courageously on Friday, Feb. 25, 2000 at the age of seventy-seven. Devoted husband and best friend of Estelle (Miller) for over fifty years. Cherished and loving father and father-in-law of Stephen and Susan, Ricky and Ella, Lisa and George Halpern. Adored grandfather of Robyn, Michael, Ryan, Daniel, Bradley, David, Lindsay, Joey, Jonathan and Justin. Son of the late Saul and the late Esther Sacks, dear brother of Bessie, the late Leah, the late Dora, the late Sara, the late Rose and the late Sam. He will be sadly missed by all his nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and the many friends whose lives he touched. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Monday, Feb. 28 at 10 am. Burial at Beth Ora Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Oncology Fund at the Montreal General Hospital Foundation. |
