On Tuesday, August 11, 2020, in her ninety-sixth year. Wife of the late Abraham (Abe) Cooper. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Dr. Stewart and Christine Cooper of North Carolina, Dr. Barry Cooper and Linda Chapman of Ottawa. Proud and treasured grandmother of Elias Avram and Avrah Faith. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Harry and Julie Schwartz, Lilly and the late Sam Schwartz, the late Ida and the late Irving Zwalsky, the late Jack and the late Norma Schwartz. Ethel will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and all who knew her. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Mount Sinai Hospital for their care and compassion. Special thanks to her caregivers, Estela, Greta and Janice, for their love and devotion. A private graveside service will take place.
