Peacefully, on Saturday, May 20th, 2023, with his wife by his side. Married to his loving wife Ronnie Rotter for 43 years. Father and father-in-law of his blended family; his four children Emily, Jackie and David Webb, Kim, and Sean; and his adored stepchildren Philip Lassman and Debbie Kalisky, and Lori Lassman and Fred Gallo. Adored grandfather of Ivanna, Matthew and Libby. Youngest of eleven children to his late parents Hyman and Ethel Hony Rotter. Wonderful brother-in-law to Jake Fichten and Dr. Cathy Fichten, Hymie Fichtenbaum and Nellie. Jack will be missed by his nephews Avi and Ian Fichtenbaum. The family would like to thank his caregiver of almost ten years, Melanie, the doctors, nurses, and staff of 7th floor South at Maimonides Geriatric Center, especially Shane, Shiane, Mona, Elizabeth, Muriella, Maritza, for their great care. Jack loved life, and although he spent it working as an electrical contractor, his real passion was dancing. During the last thirty-five years, Ronnie and Jack enjoyed their lives working as a team and loved their time traveling to their dream destinations. Always a smile and sharing his big heart. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Sunday, May 21 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at B’nai Brith Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva will be held at his home, ending Thursday evening due to the festival of Shavuot.
