Peacefully, on Thursday, October 3, 2019, in her ninety-third year. Beloved wife of the late Nathan Segal. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Merv and the late Brian Segal, Sheldon and Gwendy Segal, Stephen and Diane Segal, Karen and David Azran. Cherished ‘Gigi’ of Tanya and Abe, Elan and Claire, Lucy and James, Noah, Rebecca, and Elizabeth. Proud great-grandmother of Eliana, Sofia, Mason, Mila and Maddy. Sister and sister-in-law of the late Ann and the late Earl Rapp, the late Eli and the late Rita Schwartz; and sister-in-law of the late Samuel and the late Margaret (Marge) Segal, the late Moses (Moe) and the late Beatrice (Betty) Segal, and the late Jack Segal. Sadie will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, family, friends and all those whose lives she touched. Sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of CLSC René-Cassin for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, October 6 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the B’nai Brith Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at Karen and David’s home. Due to the advent of Yom Kippur, shiva ends Tuesday afternoon. Donations in Sadie’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
