It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bertha Ofter, peacefully on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at the age of ninety-two. Devoted wife of the late Arthur Ofter. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Lois and Morrie Silver, and Lloyd Ofter. Loving and proud granny of Andrea and Justin, Desiree (Justin), Tatyana, Jasmin and Chad. Special great-grandmother of Morghann. Daughter of the late Rosa and the late Willie Goodman. Sister and sister-in-law of Esther and the late Harry Schwartz, the late Peter and Evelyn Goodman, the late Molly Lester, the late Rosie and Maurice Tessler. Heartfelt gratitude to the 7 north staff at Maimonides Geriatric Centre, especially Shoshana, Gloria and Irene. A private graveside service to take place.
