Comments/Notes Pinek arrived in Israel in 1947 after surviving labor camps, Auschwitz and the Death March. As a young soldier in the Palmach, he fought bravely in the war of Independence in the Givati Brigade and helped liberate Beersheva! As a soldier in the IDF, he also fought in the wars of '56 and '67, of which he was always so proud. Holocaust memorial on headstone: May the memory of the perished KRAINDELS family be a blessing.
