It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Harry Schertzer, on Monday, August 30, 2021. He will be deeply missed by his loving children, Rena (Normand Daoust), Rhonda, and Steven; his cherished grandchildren, Sabrina (Nick) and Emilie (Kevin); and by his dear siblings, Nathan Schertzer (Laura), Mona Mesirow (the late Marvin) and Joei Carleton Hossack (the late Paul). Harry was a proud great-grandfather of the new babies, Zack, Raffaela, and Elliot, and he looked forward to seeing them every weekend. Harry’s family and friends will forever treasure all the many memories they made together. Sincere gratitude to the staff of Steger Residence for making his last few years extremely enjoyable.
