Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, June 16, 2016, after a courageous battle. Beloved wife and best friend of David. Loving and devoted mother of Adam and Jonathan. Dearest daughter of Katherine and the late John Belafi, and daughter-in-law of Amos and Regina Haiun. Treasured granddaughter of Katharina and the late Gottfried Gartner. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Susan and Richard Rausch, Richard and Carol Belafi, John and Pina Belafi. Sister-in-law of Zahava and Kamal Sharma, and Vered Haiun. Caroline will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family, and the many lives she touched. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Montreal General and Royal Victoria Hospitals for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, June 19 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Family Estates Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at her home.
