On Thursday, February 4, 2021, at the age of forty-two, Leyla Ester Di Cori lost her courageous, hard-fought battle against an aggressive cancer. Leyla will be forever remembered by her beloved mother, Johanne, her brother, Sandro and her niece, Jasmine, her boyfriend, Edward, and by her uncles, aunts, and cousins. Her memory will also live on in her many friends whose life she touched over the years. She will now rest in peace and join her father, Alberto, whom she cherished so much. Leyla’s passion, zest for life, and energy will continue to shine in our memory forever. In such a short time, Leyla accomplished so much and shone brightly in so many people’s lives. She made us all so proud and so happy.
