It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sol Chadnick, peacefully, on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at the age of ninety-three, after a full and happy life. Beloved husband of the late Helen. Cherished and loving father and father-in-law of Lorne and Barbie, Stewart and Lori, and Ira and Marilyn. Proud and devoted Zaidy of Mara and Adam, and Zachary; Malka and Amulek. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Sam and Sylvia Chadnick, Gloria and George Reinhart, Dora and the late Harold Waxman, the late Issie and the late Evie Chadnick, the late Ruth and the late Moe Fishman; and brother-in-law of Aviva and the late Nahum Ravel, Bena and the late Zalman Singer. Sol will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends, and all of those who knew and loved him. Heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Jewish Eldercare Centre for their exceptional care and compassion.
Sol was a warm, kind, and gentle man who would do anything to help others and put a smile on their faces. His presence and love will be forever missed and always remembered. As he often said "Life is just a bowl of cherries".
