Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Thursday, November 25, 2021. Beloved wife of Tzvi Flakowicz for sixty-three years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Daphna Flakowicz and Mark Stachiew, Daliah and Chen Naor. Cherished Savta of Matthew and Samson Flakowicz-Stachiew; Barr, Sa'ar and Rann Naor. She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends in Montreal and Israel. Special thanks to the caring and compassionate staff at the Donald Berman Maimonides Geriatric Centre and the Jewish General Hospital.
Miri was one of the founding teachers at Hebrew Foundation School and was deeply involved with Hebrew Language and Jewish Cultural Education. After her retirement, she became a volunteer at the Jewish Public Library. A private funeral service to take place. Shiva strictly private.
