With courage, on Monday, October 12, 2020 at the young age of sixty-five. Cherished and beloved wife of Steven for forty-two years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Josh Lifshitz and Kelly Matthews, and Ali Lifshitz. Very proud "Bubs" of Noah and Cole. Devoted daughter of Goldie and the late Sam (Sender) Wasserman; and daughter-in-law of Gertie and the late Sidney Lifshitz. Dearest sister of Michael Wasserman, and the late Allan Wasserman (Sheila Etcovitch); sister-in-law of Earl and Beverly Lifshitz, Larry and Carol Lifshitz, and Cheryl Lifshitz. Fun loving aunt of Leslie Wasserman and Kori Balaban and their daughter Lily, Jason Wasserman and Natasha Daniels; Jessica Lifshitz, Adam Lifshitz, Jarrad Lifshitz, Bryna and Scott Rabin and their children Leo and Max; Adam Wasserman, and Valerie Wasserman. Debra will be deeply missed by her aunts, Jeannie Fefferman, Molly Gandel, Gloria Simons, and Helen Levine. Predeceased by her many other aunts and uncles. She will be remembered by JoAnn Bercovitch, and by her many cousins and dear friends. A private graveside service will take place.
