Obituary | Suddenly, on Saturday, March 30, 2024, in his eighty-seventh year. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Joyce (Talisman) for over sixty years. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Allan and Karen, Corey and Robyn, Dana and Frederic Francis. Proud grandfather of Tyler, Madison; Jack, Drew; Leila, Mina, Jonathan. Predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Gertrude Safran, and by his siblings and their spouses, Eric and Leona Safran, and Ronald Safran. Brother-in-law of Lawrence and Sandra Talisman, Arleen and Allan Nusbaum. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of 5-North at Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their care and compassion.
Jerry will be remembered for his impactful volunteer work.
