It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Alain (Alino) Perez on Sunday, March 29, 2020, at the age of seventy-five. Beloved husband and best friend of Susan Merkus. Devoted father of Alexandre, and Sasha Perez. Son of the late Isaac and the late Joujou Perez; and son-in-law of Joseph Merkus and Ane Ugarkovic. Loving big brother and brother-in-law of Victor Perez and Nelly Cohen Perez; and brother-in-law of Karol Merkus. Uncle of Daniel Perez, Benjamin Perez, Matthew Pim and Courtney Pim. Alain will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Nacera Belkhous and all the staff of the Geriatrics Department at the Jewish General Hospital for their kind care and compassion. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
