Amar, Élie Peacefully and with dignity, after a courageous battle, on Shabbat, Friday, January 11, 2019. Beloved husband of Ninette Bitton for thirty years. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Dan, Jack and Jennifer, Laurence and Shaun. Cherished 'Papi Élie' of Maya and Sophia. He will be sadly missed by his siblings in Montreal, Israel, France and Florida, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, family and all those whose lives he touched. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Jewish General Hospital, especially at the Palliative Care Unit for their exceptional care and compassion.
