It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Amram Bensimhon at the age of 100 on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. He is survived by his wife of over 75 years Freha Levy Bensimhon and his brother Charles. He is predeceased by his son Gilles as well as his sisters, Raymonde, Gracia, Redoi and his brother Jacques. He will be sadly missed by his sons, Alain (Tammy) and Benjamin (Lynn), as well as his grandchildren, Jill (Eric), Mikael, Jason (Julie) and Stacy and his great-grandchildren, Jacob and Annabelle , and several nieces and nephews.
His love of the sea and fishing was known to all who spent time with him, and it is certainly a passion his sons and loved ones share. Summers spent by the sea in Cape Cod will be in our hearts forever. Perhaps even more well known was his love of singing and dancing. Even in his 90's, he would light up the dance floor and get us on our feet. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and although we will miss having his smile in our life, we are left with countless happy memories to cherish. Our family would like to say a very special thank you to his caregiver, May, for her support and for being with him throughout the last years.
