Obituary Peacefully at home, on Saturday, January 8, 2022. Marks was born on July 25, 1939, in Kalinkovichi, Belarus. He had a twin brother named Karl who passed away a few years ago in Israel. During the World War II, Marks and all his family had moved to Siberia, Russia. His entire family was struggling due to poverty and famine. After the war, Marks graduated high school and college with honours and high grades, he then proceeded to work in the field of construction. From his first marriage, he had twin daughters, Irina and Lena, from his second marriage with Gene, he had one daughter, Dina. Lastly, from his third marriage with Tamara, he had no other children. Marks was a hardworking man, always honest and true to his word. In 1990, he arrived in Canada with his family and lived the last thirty-three years of his life in Montreal. He worked in a furniture company as a carpenter until his retirement. Following his retirement, Marks continued to lead an active lifestyle. He went on walks twice a day, exercised, and often went to see his friends at the local mall. Until the very last day, he continued to cook meals for himself, take care of his household, and drive on his own. He was strong not only physically, but mentally as well, Marks was always a good son, brother, father, and grandfather.
