Peacefully, in his ninety-sixth year, on Sunday, October 20, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Edith Gross. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Susan and Ahron Hayut, Milton and Maxine Fischbein. Cherished Grandpa of Orly and Avishay, Eliott and Jennifer, Alysa, and Emma and Jeremy. Proud great-grandfather of Ash, Aria and Ethan. Predeceased by his three brothers who perished in the Holocaust. Joseph will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Special thanks to Dr. Stan Heisler for his care and support. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Wednesday, October 23 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
