SCHWALB, Lazar (Lica). Peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000 at the age of seventy-four years. Beloved husband of Betty Schwalb. Devoted and loving father and father-in-law Hana and Dr. Seymour Brownstein of Ottawa, Avi Schwalb, Carmen and David Schwalb. Cherished grandfather of Ariela Brownstein, Jonathan Brownstein, Sean Schwalb, Galit and Steven Sternthal. Great-grandfather of Samara Sternthal and Jordana Sternthal. Brother and brother-in-law of Jeny Segal, Nuti Miller, Sima and Adolph Balas. The family would like to thank the very kind and competent doctors in Romania who assisted in his care.
