Peacefully, on Saturday, April 11, 2020, in his eighty-third year. Loving and devoted husband of the late Catharina. Beloved father and father-in-law of Orna and James Murphy. Devoted and proud grandfather of Joshua and Zachary. Dear brother of Rimon, Esther, Menashe and Yitzhak. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephew, family, neighbours and friends. Joe grew up in Israel and set off to travel the world in the early 60's. He met Tini, the love of his life, in Holland and they moved to Canada in 1965 to marry and start a family. He missed her terribly after her passing in 1996, and the family is happy that they will now be reunited. The family would like to thank the staff of the Lakeshore General Hospital for the compassionate care he received during this unprecedented time. Private graveside service on Monday, April 13.
