It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of an incredible woman, Lila Goldberg on April 26th, 2021. Beloved wife of Sonny Sailofsky. Adored and treasured mother and mother-in-law of Allan & Debbie Diamond, Ronnie & Cindy Diamond, and Clifford Diamond. Cherished and much-loved Grandmother of Kevin and Isabelle, Kyle, Jillian and Eric and Sammy. Daughter of the late Estera and the late Israel Goldberg. Devoted and loving sister and sister-in-law to Freda and the late Andre Goldberg, Henry and Judy Goldberg and Issie and Rita Goldberg. She will be deeply missed by all her nieces and nephews. Lila lived her life with a passion for her family, her pride and joy. She had a vivacious personality, and her smile was infectious. She spent endless hours on the tennis courts, and played as many mahjong games that she could fit into a week. Her many wonderful friends were very special to her. Lila was a ray of sunshine. Her kindness, wisdom, strength and positivity is something that we should all aspire to. Her joie de vivre is how she was admired and will be remembered. Thank you to Dr Michael Kalin and Mount Sinai for taking such good care of her. A private graveside service to take place.
