DIAMOND, Arthur Irwin. Passed away peacefully and with great courage in Montreal, surrounded by his loves ones, on Monday, January 13, 2003 at the age of eighty. Son of the late Harry and Annie Diamond. Son-in-law of the late Max and Annie Seigler. Devoted husband of the late Sheila Diamond. Survived by his loving and devoted friend Nancy Taub, children Mel and Karen Diamond (Vancouver), Mark and Wendy Diamond (Wiseman), Ronda Diamond and Richard Cherney, and Richard and Rhonda Diamond (Toronto), sisters Shirlee Gordon (Toronto), Rhoda Blumer (Jack), and brother Stanley Diamond (Ruth). Zaida will be missed by his grandchildren Kelly and Kimberlee Diamond, Samantha, Katrina and Maximillian Cherney, Sara Diamond and Joshua and Noah Diamond and by his special friends Max Kape, and Bradley and Derrick Taub. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, Montreal, on Wednesday, January 15 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Congregation Shaare Zion Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield, Quebec. Shiva at 43 Forden Cres., Westmount, Quebec.
