LAZAR, Frances (nee Segal)
After a brief illness, at the age of 85, on Thursday, October 29, 2015. Daughter of the late Dr. Benjamin Wolfe Segal and Sarah Edith Segal. Devoted wife of the late Ralph Edward Lazar. Beloved mother of Barbara Lazar, Robert and Debra Lazar. Dear sister of Dr. Perry and Sandy Segal, Carolyn and Dr. Charles Greenberg. Cherished Nana of Dr. Richard and Stephanie Leiter, David Leiter; Michael Lazar and Elyse Schmidt, Rebecca Lazar. Proud Big Nana of Jacob Solomon Leiter. Special thanks to Dr. Harvey Chang and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Sunday, November 1 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
