STEIN, Eleanor (nee Speisman). In her ninety-eighth year, on Tuesday, May 4, 2010. Wife of the late Albert Louis (A.L.) Stein Q.C. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Alan and Barbara, Michael and Janice of Toronto, David and Myrna of Toronto, Karen and Bobby Engel of Toronto. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie, Kim and Jonathan Stein; Isaac and Gabriel Stein; Lori and Louis Quenneville, Julia Stein; Alison and Joshua Engel-Yan, Daniel Engel. Proud great-grandmother of Jonah Quenneville; Ashira and Eliana Engel-Yan. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Lucy Speisman, the late Leo and the late Ruth Speisman, and sister-in-law of Rita and the late Sam Stein, the late Hymie and the late Rose Stein, the late Kate and the late Irving Freeman, the late Mamie and the late Joe Stein. Sadly mourned by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Verdun General Hospital for their care and compassion.
