ADESSKY, Irving L. QC Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Sunday, September 19, 2010. Devoted husband of the late Zelda Soloway. Cherished companion of Hanka Hornstein. Loving father and father-in-law of Jeffrey, Liz and Arnie Vered, Andrew and Malvina, Mark and Sheryl, Joy and Louis Hoppenheim. Proud grandfather of Ariel, Danya, Jordana, Ali, Michael, and Tori Vered; Liya, Ryan and Jessie Adessky; Daniel, Sean, and Samantha Adessky; Brody, Nikki and Zoe Hoppenheim. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Bob and Shirley, Hy and Myrna. Brother-in-law of Dr. Irving (Smitty) Soloway, Jean and the late Monty Berger, the late Roslyn and the late Ben Ami Sanders. Sadly mourned by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. A special thank you to Drs. Garzon, Gold, Rosenberg and Gyger and the CNR team at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, September 20 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva 352 Kensington Ave., Westmount. Due to the festival of Succoth, shiva ends Wednesday afternoon, September 22.
