BLAUER, Shirley (nee Barnoff)
Peacefully, on Sunday, November 25, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Haskell. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Fred, Cindy and the late Gilly Schwager, Joe and Susie (Mayers). Treasured 'Grandma Shirley' of Evan and Keren, Robert; Tamara and Max, Yaron; Aaron, and Noam. Exceedingly proud great-grandmother of Maya and Sofie. Sister of Pinny and Dorothy Barnoff, and sister-in-law of Ruth Selesnick, Marvin and Cathy Blauer, Aaron and Barbara Blauer. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her dear nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the caring staff of the CLSC Rene-Cassin, the Mount Sinai Hospital Home Support team, NOVA Montreal, and Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital and the Jewish General Hospital, for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, November 27 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Shaare Zedek Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at her home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday.
