CHAPLIN, Rhoda (nee Goldman)
On Wednesday, July 17, 2013 with her husband by her side. Beloved wife of Monty for over seventy years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Barbara Chaplin and Richard Deliva. Proud step-grandmother of Megan, and Stephanie. Predeceased by her sisters and their spouses, Rita and Lew Cohen, Frieda and David Pearl of London, England. Dearest sister-in-law of Helene and the late Samuel Newton, and predeceased by Diana and Joe Bunning, Ivor Chaplin, Lily and Morrie Weinrabe, Betty and Jack Shane, all of London, England. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Rhoda will always be in our hearts and sadly missed. Grateful thanks to the Dialysis Ward at the Montreal General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, July 19 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Shaare Zedek Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 6505 Cote Saint-Luc Road, #312 on Friday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., and on Sunday and Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
