STERN, Rachel (nee Levine). In her 100th year, on Tuesday, February 14, 2006. Wife of the late Lazar Stern. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Diana Rubinfeld, Norma and Phillip Miller, May Mickey Stern. Cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff of 4th floor at Mount Sinai Hospital and to her caregivers Voula and Anna for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Thursday, February 16 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Shaare Zedek Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
