EISENSTAT, Shirley (nee Benjamin)
Surrounded by her loving family at Hillel Lodge, Ottawa, on Thursday, February 28, 2013. Devoted wife of the late Irving. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Michael and Deborah, Deborah and Howard Krebs. Cherished Bubbie of Stefanie and Jeff, Liane and Ian, Adam, Geoffrey and Mandy; Jonathan and Meital, Avi, and Naomi. Proud great-grandmother of Rhys, and Emily. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Alta and the late Laurie Mushkat, Helen and the late Gordy Froman, Delphine and the late Sonny Benjamin. Shirley will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family, and all those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank the staff of 3 West at Hillel Lodge, Ottawa, for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Monday, March 4 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Shaare Zedek Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva on Monday at 4670 Grosvenor Ave., Montreal, continuing in Ottawa from 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, through Sunday at 39 Shoreham.
