GOLDENBERG, Michael Suddenly, on Thursday, June 2, 2011, at the age of seventy-seven. Cherished husband and best friend of Betty Nerwen for fifty-five years. Beloved father and father-in-law of Mark and Ursula, and Jo-Lee. Loving grandfather of Savrina, Anna and Peter, and great-grandfather of Kaden and Keira. Son of the late Joseph and the late Lea, and son-in-law of the late Samuel and the late Sophie Nerwen. Devoted brother of the late Annie Goldenberg, and brother-in-law of David and Anita Nerwen. He was a caring friend to many, his strength was his wisdom, and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, June 5 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Shaare Zedek Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 5720 Rembrandt Ave., Cote St-Luc. Due to the festival of Shavuot, shiva ends Tuesday afternoon.
