On Saturday, August 26, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Ronny for fifty-three years. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Jonathan, Clifford and Christine. Very proud Bubbie of Tyler, and Dillon; Brandon, Madison, and Jordan. Devoted daughter of Sam (Susan) and the late Fay Abracen. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Gail and Dr. Richard Steinberg of British Columbia. Sister-in-law of Susan and Allan Tabac, Bummy and Arlene Albert. Carol will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephew, Amelia, Isabelle, Noah and fiancée Allie, and by her other nieces, nephews, family and many friends. Special thanks to Dr. Carmela Pepe and the doctors, nurses and staff of the Oncology Department at the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Graveside service on Tuesday, August 29 at 12:00 noon, at the Shaare Zedek Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
